Turkish Airlines - new Istanbul Airport

After the move had to be postponed several times, Turkish Airlines has now announced that it will definitely operate all flights to and from the new airport as of 6 April 2019. The construction of the new mega-airport has cost US$ 12 billion so far. The delayed relocation is due to delays in the completion of the construction project. The old Ataturk airport will be closed down as a result.
